ELANOR DAVIS SCOTT
Eleanor Davis Scott, 87, passed away on Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mrs. Scott was born in Wayne County on Jan. 31, 1923, to the late Albert Davis and Maggie Cook Davis Langston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Arthur Scott and her daughters, Carol Scott and Beverly Scott Mayo.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont with John May officiating.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her grandchildren, Ronnie Mayo Jr. and his wife, Christie, of Goldsboro, Carol Ellen Henn and husband, Brian, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Charlotte Hope May and husband, John, of Fremont and Samantha Noel Mayo of Fremont; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
