FREMONT -- Robin Kay Davis, 53, of 7433 C Highway 117 N., passed away Friday, July 16, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 19, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. Davis was born in West Virginia on Aug. 29, 1956, to Harold and Yvonne Waggoner Hite of Buckhannon, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Danny A. Davis; two sons, Brian David Elliott and wife, Blythe, of Wilson, and Charles Brandon Duke and girlfriend, Ashley Owens, of Wilson; one stepson, John Curtis Davis of Rocky Mount; one stepdaughter, Joannah Davis Lassiter and husband, Adam, of Conway; one sister, Charmaine Hite and life partner, Stan Rexroad, of Buckhannon, W.Va.; one foster sister, Lorie Lee of Vero Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Joseph Elliott, Brianna Elliott, Michael Minton and Laurali Lassiter; one niece, Erin Lester and husband, Geoff, of Charlotte; and a host of aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation N.C. Chapter in Wilson, 2620-B SW Forest Hills Road, Wilson, NC 27893.
