CLINTON -- Mr. Edward D. Moore, 82, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Mary Gran Nursing Home in Clinton.
Funeral services will be held on today, March 4, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Bill Cotton, the Rev. Elbert and Juanita Hollowell officiating. Burial will follow the funeral in the Clinton City Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Melton Levy and Rosa Odom Moore. Edward is survived by a daughter, Virginia M. Ammons and husband, Johnny, of Turkey; three sisters, Alma Inez Vernon, Bertha Marie Bass and Lois Gray Hunter, all of Clinton; three godsons, Kevalyn Chavarria, Alonzo Olvia, and Rueben Olvia Jr.; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Lynwood C. Moore.
