ALBERTSON -- Vertie Lee Loften, 95, of 164 Seth Town Road died Friday at Duplin General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Payne Temple AME Zion Church, Mount Olive. Burial will follow at Lofton Cemetery, Albertson.
She was born in Duplin County to the late Gaston and Hannah Stroud Branch. Five children survive.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
