NOVA 'DON' EDENS JR.

Nova Donald "Don" Edens Jr., 67, died Thursday at home. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Nova D. and Elizabeth Howell Edens. He was a graduate of Goldsboro High School in 1961 and was retired from Textilease Corp.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Gary Bailey officiating.
Don is survived by a sister, Kay E. Satterfield and husband, Kenneth, of Belfast; two brothers, Randy Edens and wife, Nancy, of Kenansville, Bill Edens of Belfast; his special pet, "King," and several nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his sister, Kay Satterfield, 104 William Drive, in the Belfast Community.
