Mildred Batchelor Cogdell, 81, of Nashville, died Thursday.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, officiated by Bishop Walter Compton. Burial was at Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro.
Born in Pender County, she was a daughter the late Oris Viander and Viola Mae Sholar Batchelor. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bonnie Cogdell
She is survived three children.
The family received friends from 6:30 until 8 p.m. Friday at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home.
Arrangements are by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home.
