EUREKA -- Mildred Ann Edwards, 52, 215 S. Baker St., Eureka peacefully departed this life Tuesday.
Her life will be remembered and celebrated Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John United Holy Church, with elder Michael Artis officiating. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Anderson Cemetery in Farmville, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Mary Etta Barrett Edwards, and a sister Latha M. Edwards.
Loving memories are cherished by her husband, Van Taylor of the home; her children Tracy Edwards, Van Dontay Taylor and Vanna Taylor of the home; her siblings, Ethel Edwards, Linda K. Newbern of Kinston, Mary Lou Hamilton, Joyce Edwards of Goldsboro, Magalene Taylor of Tennessee and Forest Edwards Jr. of New Bern.
Visitation Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
