Mary Cannon Hall, 84, passed away on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 at Sutton's Retirement Center.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Pastor Al Thompson officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mary was born in Wayne County on April 19, 1926, to the late Roland C. Cannon and Edith Jones Cannon. She was married to the late James H. Hall. Mary worked as an accountant for the Precision Corporation and was a member of Goldsboro Wesleyan Church.
Mary is survived by her son, John R. Coffey and wife, Rennie, of Ridgefield, Wash.; her daughter, Sandra Kincaid and husband, John, of Swayzee, Ind.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces, Jeneen Moore and husband, Brad, of Goldsboro and Beulah Coker of Homespeech, Fla.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lyda and Mae.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Goldsboro Wesleyan Church, 217 Mount Airy Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
The family will receive friends Monday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
