PRINCETON -- Charlie Clifton Evans, 81, died Wednesday afternoon at home.
Funeral will be at 6 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Matt Munday and the Rev. Elliott Hill officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 5, 1928, in Johnston County to the late Ernest Clifton and Kizzie Peedin Evans.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Grace Pittman Evans, and two sons.
