MAGNOLIA -- William "Bill" Roscoe Potter, 79, died Sunday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Magnolia United Methodist Church. Masonic burial will follow in Devotional Gardens.
He was born Jan. 7, 1930, the only child of the late Roscoe and Jessie Merritt Potter.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Cullers Potter of the home, and two children.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Community Funeral Home in Warsaw.
