Jorge Silva, 8, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at Iglesia Evangelica "Rios de Agua Viva" Church, with pastor Jacob Santizo officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Poblado #5 in Mexico.
He was born in Dallas, Texas.
Jorge is survived by his parents, Jorge and Guadalupe Silva Cervantes of Goldsboro.
Family members will greet friends at the church immediately following the funeral service and at other times will be at the home, 107 Windsor Drive, Goldsboro.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro is serving the family.
