LAGRANGE -- Edna Brown Smith, 69, died Tuesday at her home.
A service of remembrance will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronnie Hobgood officiating. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Edna was born Oct. 31, 1939, in Lenoir County to the late Henry and Ethel Mae Freeman Brown. She was the wife of the late Harold Maxton "Max" Smith.
She is survived by four children.
The family will receive friends Thursday beginning one hour before the service and at other times they will be at the home.
Arrangements are by Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
