Rosewood hammers perennial 2A power Midway

Kolby Harris threw six innings of eight-strikeout ball as Rosewood launched its 2016 campaign with a 9-2, non-conference triumph over perennial 2-A power Midway on Tuesday afternoon.
Harris allowed two runs and walked three.
Boone Moody provided one inning of one-hit, one-strikeout relief.
Hayden Amodeo powered the offense with three hits, including a double and two runs scored. Chance Howard doubled in a 2-for-4 performance. Ethan Chapin delivered one hit, walked twice and stole four bases.
The Eagles (1-0 overall) continue play Thursday at C.B. Aycock.
