ANNIE RACHEL MERCER

Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, the Lord called home his faithful servant, Annie Rachel Mercer, at the age of 94.
She was a lifetime, and oldest living, member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro.
She was the daughter of the late Ezra and Mallie Denning Peterson.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, from 4 p.m. until at the home of her granddaughter, Sherry (Cecil) Toler at 107 Sandy Ridge Road in Rosewood.
Services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Mercer is survived by a daughter, Annie J. Rice and Thomas M. Klein; two grandchildren, Sherry Rice Toler (Cecil) and Robin Rice Suggs (Thomas Hinson); two great-grandchildren, Amy Toler Grady (Anthony) and Jerry Thomas Hinson; and a great-great grandson, Jackson Charles Grady.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Milford and Edward Peterson, and her son-in-law, Staff Sgt. Jerry T. Rice.
