The Rev. Cealo Joyce Best, 62, 619 Taylor St., died Monday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Home-going services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Delight United Holy Church in Parks-town, with the Rev. Devin Pickett officiating. Interment will follow in Old Mil Cemetery.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Best of the home; her children, Joyce Yelverton of Goldsboro, Pamela Rorie of Winston-Salem, Patricia Best-Isley of Greensboro, Keontay Wynn of Goldsboro and Roger Pridgen of Clayton.
Visitation Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
The family will receive friends at other times at residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
