MYRTLE ETTA LYNCH GRANT

Myrtle Lynch Grant, 78, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Myrtle was born in Johnston County Aug. 19, 1932, to the late Leroy Lynch and Flossie Daughtry Lynch. She was married to the late Charles Brantley Grant.
Myrtle was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tom Dorman officiating. The interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Myrtle is survived by her sons, Earl Grant and wife, Janet, of Fremont and Bobby Grant and wife, Marcie, of LaGrange; her sister, LaVee Chase of LaGrange; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Pilkington; a sister, Doris Bell; and a brother, Marvin Lynch.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
