Mildred Louise Houston, 82, passed away Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Homegoing services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Little Rock Church Disciples of Christ in Pikeville. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park North.
The viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 10 a.m.
Mrs. Houston was born in Duplin County July 8, 1928, to the late David and Sarah Dobson.
She was a member of Little Rock Church Disciples of Christ.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Nathaniel Houston and wife, Magnolia, of Columbus, Miss., Lindsey Houston and wife, LaVohn, of Australia and Roger Houston of Goldsboro; a daughter, Belinda Mitchell and husband, Robert, of Fremont; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Houston was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Houston, and a son, Anthony Houston.
