FLORA MAE ROLLINS

Flora Mae Wilson Rollins, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday evening while a patient at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Wise officiating. Burial will follow at Willowdale Cemetery.

She was born in Jackson County, Ga., to the late Hubert and Elza Oliver Wilson and was married to the late Clifton Rollins. A member of Unity Baptist Church, she loved her church as well as her flower gardening.

Mrs. Rollins is survived by three children, Clay Rollins and wife, Sharon of Seven Springs, Amy Bowyer and husband, Dan, of Mount Lookout, W.Va. and Elza Holliday and husband, Mark, of Pool, W.Va.; three stepchildren, Warren Rollins and wife, Jean, of Pikeville, Haywood Rollins of Goldsboro and Alyene Pollock of New Bern; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends today from 2 until 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Clay and Sharon Rollins, 1266 Mark Herring Road, Seven Springs.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Unity Baptist Church.
