MOUNT OLIVE -- Lillie "Billie" Morrah Bryan, 91, passed away Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a special friend.

Born in McCormick County, S.C., May 9, 1918, to the late David William Morrah and Lillie Wardlaw Morrah. William Edward Bryan Sr. of Allendale, S.C., was her loving and devoted husband for 25 years until his death in 1966. Also preceding her in death were four sisters, Rebecca Morrah, Katrina Morrah, Mary Ellen Krell and Betty Funderburk; and a niece, Nancy Stafford.

She is survived by a daughter, Katrina "Tena" Boyd and husband, Robert "Bob" Boyd, of Mount Olive; two sons, William Edward Bryan Jr. and wife, Susan, of Lexington, and David Morrah Bryan and wife, Kathy, of Apex; seven grandchildren, Katrina Smith and husband, Stevie, of Goldsboro, Robin Webster and husband, Steve, of Mount Olive, Robert "Bobby" Boyd Jr. and wife, Erika, of Goldsboro, William Edward Bryan III, Jordan Bryan, Brook Bryan and Megan Bryan; four great-grandchildren, Parker Mellott, Grace Webster, Emily Webster and Ruthie Boyd; a nephew, Walter "Chip" Krell and wife, Heather, of Lake Wylie, S.C., a niece, Betty Coffee and husband, Robert "Chip," of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Caroline Bryan of Wilmington; a niece, Carol Gilliam and husband, Peter, of Wilmington; a nephew, George Bryan and wife, Mary Jo, of Hickory; and special friends, Julia Mann of Sanford and Kathy Fischal of Fremont.

A former Sanford resident, she was a longtime member and servant in the Jonesboro Presbyterian Church. Becoming a resident of Mount Olive in recent years, she had become a member
of the Mount Olive Presbyterian Church.

A service of witness to the resurrection will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, corner of South Breazeale Avenue and West Main Street in Mount Olive, with visitation immediately following in the church fellowship hall. Graveside services with burial will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Swallow-Savannah Cemetery in Allendale, S.C.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 158, Mount Olive, N.C., or to Jonesboro Presbyterian Church, 2200 Woodland Ave., Sanford, N.C. 27330.
