Werner Robert "Buddy" Mohrmann, 90, born Nov. 13, 1919, of 351 Windermere Drive No. 206, Alexandria, La. died Jan. 5, 2010, in Alexandria, La.
Private graveside services will be held Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at Willowdale Cemetery.
Mr. Mohrmann was retired from Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company in Raleigh, with 43 years of service. He served in the US Navy for two and a half years during WWII and was a life member of VFW Post No. 9960, Swansboro.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Parker Mohrmann; his parents, G.H.F. and Emma Marie Mohrmann of Charleston, SC; a brother Gustav Mohrmann of Cross, SC; two sisters, Elna Marie Wieters and Carolyn Lois Grisillo of Charleston, SC.
Surviving are two nephews, Robert H. Wieters Sr. of Pineville, La.; James L. Mazyck of James Island, SC; brother-in-law, Raymond Grisillo of Charleston, SC; a niece, Pamela Parker Farmer of Melbourn, Fla.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
The family will receive friends this afternoon, Jan. 10, 2010, from 3 until 5 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
