BENSON -- Roscoe Durwood Parrish, 85, of 419 S. Pleasant-Coats Road, died Thursday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnson Memorial Church Cemetery, 8280 N.C. 50 N., Angier. The Rev. R.B. Parrish will officiate.
He was born April 21, 1924, in Johnston County to the late C.C. and Lucy Parrish. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Barnes Parrish.
He is survived by one daughter and two sons.
Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Rose and Graham Funeral Home, 301 W. Main St.
