Penelope Watson Blanford, 68, a resident of Woodard's Care, died Sunday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
At her request, no formal services will be held and her burial will be held at sea.
Penelope was born in Fort Myers, Fla., on June 30, 1940.
She had worked as a nurse's aide and had also worked with her husband as a truck driver.
All her family preceded her in death.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
