Abraham "B-Ham" Thompson, 64, 715 National Drive, died Tuesday morning at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 am. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with pastor Joe Jackson officiating. His mortal remains will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson served the community as a barber for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Person Thompson, and three children.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
