KENLY -- Southern Wayne lost a three set affair to North Johnston on Monday by a 25-12, 25-22, 25-22 margin.

Alexus Elliott led the Halos with five kills and four blocks, while Mackenzie Bryan registered three kills. Kya Hunter also had four kills.

The setback kept Southern Wayne winless this season. It travels to face Wilson Fike today at 4:30 p.m.

Midway 3,

Rosewood 0

DUNN -- Rosewood dropped a 3-0 decision to Midway on Monday, falling 25-19, 25-7 and 25-12.

Senior Allana Atwell paced the Eagles with six kills, and was complemented by Maddie Horne, who tallied five. The loss tumbled Rosewood to 3-4 on the season.

KENLY -- North Johnston protected home court on Monday with a 25-21, 25-20 victory over Southern Wayne.

Freshman Morgan Kennedy performed ably for SW, finishing the match with four kills and two aces. Allison Gurley also contributed four aces.
