Goldsboro softball falls to Southern Wayne

DUDLEY -- Riley Howell and Dakota Jones combined to score four runs during Goldsboro's 17-5, non-conference loss to county rival Southern Wayne on Tuesday evening.
Howell, Jones and Matti Rose Lyon each had one hit for the Cougars.
Goldsboro (0-2 overall) entertains Southern Wayne next Tuesday. First pitch is 4 p.m.
