Elise Dalton Hunt, 87, Goldsboro, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 5, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Elise was born in Campbell County, Va., Nov. 8, 1929, to the late Jessie Dameron Dalton and Fannie Hackworth Dalton.
She was the kindest and most loving wife, mother and grandmother and a great friend to everyone. Elise will be missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.
A service to celebrate Elise's life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tim Sharp officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 7, 2017, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
Elise is survived by her husband of 56 years, Grady Conway Hunt; sons, Gregory Hunt of Goldsboro and Kenneth Hunt and wife, Jeannie, of Chilhowie, Va.; and her granddaughter, Sierra Hunt.
