JAMIE S. GINN

Jamie Stewart Ginn, 49, LaGrange, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017.
Jamie was born March 13, 1967, in Goldsboro to Rebecca Wagner Stewart and the late Lewis McNeill "Mac" Stewart.
Jamie graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in elementary education.
Jamie taught for several years, and then embraced her true calling as a devoted and loving mother and wife.
Jamie relished her role as mother. Her children have fond memories of her always being right there with a smile and loving hug.
Jamie loved photography, and especially enjoyed taking photos of her children. She took great pride in bragging on their accomplishments.
A woman of strong faith, Jamie worshipped at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
She loved the outdoors, trips to the beach and the sunshine. Jamie found great pleasure in tending to her yard and flowers. The outside of her home was always decorated with just the right home and garden flag.
A service to honor Jamie's life will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 2 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
In addition to her mother, Jamie is survived by her husband of almost 19 years, Jeffrey Lee Ginn; two children, Jacob McNeill Ginn and Joanna Grace "Gracie" Ginn; stepdaughter, Haley Lee Ginn; brother, David McNeill Stewart and his wife, Kimberly; along with Jeff's mother, Patsy Boyette and her husband, Mike.
In addition to her father, Jamie was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Charles and Rachel Wagner; paternal grandparents, Franklin and Doris Stewart; and her father-in-law, Ira Lee Ginn.
Friends will be received Thursday following the graveside committal service.
