David Carroll “D.C.” Knowles, 66, Sampson County, died Sunday, Feb. 26.
The funeral was Wednesday, March 1, at 2 p.m. at West and Dunn Funeral Home chapel of Newton Grove, with the Rev. Cecil Price officiating. Interment was in Hill- crest Cemetery.
He was the son of James Carroll Knowles and the late Anna Lou Knowles.
He is survived by his wife, Frances M. Knowles; two daughters; and four sons.
Visitation was Wednes- day,March1,from1to2 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of Judy Smith, 73 Trail End Lane, Newton Grove.
