Bobby Lee Gurley, 78, Pikeville, passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Bobby was born in Wayne County March 9, 1938, to the late Percy and Ester Bass Gurley.
He retired from Kemp Furniture.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at 4 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Barry Stallings officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service at the home of his sister, Edna Fields.
Bobby is survived by his sister, Edna Fields of Pikeville, and niece, Alice Bragg and husband, Robert, and their son, Trey Bragg.
