Kay Frances Winn-Johnson, 78, 215 W. Lockhaven Drive, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, at noon at Payne Temple AME Zion Church in Mount Olive, N.C. The Rev. Sylvester Smith Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.
She is survived by a son, William Kenneth Johnson of Ithaca, N.Y.; a daughter, Deborah Johnson-Dones of Goldsboro, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be Friday, Aug. 12, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home, with the family present 6 to 7 p.m.
