DAVID LEON MOZINGO

David Leon Mozingo, 73, Louisburg, passed away Oct. 25, 2014, at Duke Regional Hospital.

He was born July 22, 1941, in Goldsboro, N.C., to the late Foy and Rena Evans Mozingo.

David led a life full of love and family.

One of David's favorite things to do was to go fishing with his nephews every summer. They would spend hours out on the boat together, enjoying the sea air and catching them some fish.

In his life, the most important thing to him was family and the time he spent with them.

Funeral service 3 p.m. Thursday at Massey Funeral Home in Zebulon.

Surviving are sister, Mollie Partin and brother-in-law, Ronald Partin of Rockingham, N.C., and brother, Ray Mozingo and sister-in-law, Judy Mozingo of Louisburg, N.C.

He is also survived by three very special individuals whom he got the opportunity to get to know in his last few years, David and Jacob Woods of Savannah, Va., and Pamela Alouspas of Jacksonville, Fla.

Mr. Mozingo is also survived by tons of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death his parents and his older brother, James Earl Mozingo.
