Donald Ray Lanier, 77, died Monday at Carolina East Hospice Care Center in Kenansville.
Funeral will be tonight at 7 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw, with visitation following. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Devotional Gardens.
He was born Aug. 20, 1937, in Duplin County to Cleon Lanier and Lillie Mae Ezzell Lanier. He was married to Martha Taylor Lanier.
He is survived by two sons.
