Sylvester H. Barnes, 58, 2406 Eric Sparrow Road, Deep Run, died Tuesday at Lenior Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. James AME Church.
Viewing will be an hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements are by Christian Brothers Funeral Home of Kinston.
