MARY ELIZABETH BARNES JONES
June 17, 1945-Oct. 23, 2014
Mary was born June 17, 1945, in Goldsboro, N.C., and departed this life in peace Oct. 23, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Barnes, Sr. and Armetta Parks-Barnes, and her three brothers, Claude Barnes Jr., Bennie Barnes and Johnnie Barnes.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Jesse A. Jones; her son, LaRone Sinclare of Newark, N.J.; and a brother, James Earl Barnes (Patricia) of Fayetteville, N.C.
She is also survived by a special aunt, Mrs. Cassie Taylor of Dudley, N.C.
She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She also leaves a special daughter, Mary (William) China of West Orange, N.J., and her two special grandchildren, Tiffany and Travis China of West Orange, N.J.
The funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at Lea Funeral Home chapel, 2500 Poole Road, Raleigh, N.C.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Old Mill Cemetery in Goldsboro, N.C.
