Nicia "Grandmama" West Ashford, 93, 133 S. Running Deer Circle, Dudley, died Monday at home.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Saint Mark Free Will Baptist Church, with Dr. Curtis Lee officiating. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born in Craven County March 12,1921, to the late Zelphia Harris West and Ervin West. She was married to the late Luby Ashford.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. in Apostle D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home. The family will assemble at 11:50 a.m. Friday at the Ashford home for the funeral procession.
