STERLING LEE CARROLL

Sterling "Ski Bo" Lee Carroll, 73, of 128 Polly Lane, the Bogue Community, Newport, died Wednesday at the Duke Medical Center in Durham.
He was a member of the United States Army and was employed as a long-distance truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Tootle Carroll; and three children.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Spring Garden Missionary Baptist Church, with Elder Dwight Sidberry officiating. Burial with military honors will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Arrangements are by Morgan Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
