JACK "SHANE" CARTER

Jack "Shane" Carter, 36, passed away Wednesday morning at his
residence.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the services.
He was the son of Danny and Kim Carter of Mount Olive and Michele C. Rath of Sacramento, Calif.; and was the husband of Hillary Carter. Shane had a big heart and enjoyed helping others and was a certified automotive technician who enjoyed working on cars.
In addition to his parents and wife, Shane is survived by his daughters, Amber and Shae Carter, Gabby Carter; and step-daughter, Jordan Ramsey; two brothers, Michael Wise and wife, Teresa, of Grantham and Billy Bennett and wife, Josie, of Dudley; two sisters, Geaneen Carter Spivey and husband, Preston, of Goldsboro and Missy Carter Roach and husband, Matt, of Greensboro; and grandparents, Jack Criswell and wife, Betty of Hughson, Calif., and Howard Brock of Mount Olive.
Shane was preceded in death by a sister, Tabatha, and grandparents, Irene Brock and Raymond Carter.
