DOROTHY KYLE SINK CRUMPLER

WILMINGTON -- Dorothy Sink Crumpler, 94, of 4329 Tollington Drive passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at St. Luke United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bryan Crumpler officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Dot was born on Jan. 13, 1919, in Midway to the late Mamie and David Reid Sink. She was married to the late E.N. Crumpler of Goldsboro. Dot had lived most of her life in Goldsboro. She was manager of the catalog department at JC Penney for 20 years. Dot was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and was a member of the Quilter's group and choir.
She is survived by her three sons, David Norwood Crumpler and wife, Barbara; James Cameron Crumpler and wife, Lynn; and Edward Lee Crumpler and wife, Cherry; seven grandchildren, Jay Crumpler, Angie Whitaker, Karen Huffman, Bryan Crumpler, Jennifer Galloway, Lee Crumpler and Katherine Crumpler; nine great-grandchildren, Tyler Huffman, Jeremy Huffman, Natalie Crumpler, Alex Crumpler, Morgan Crumpler, Meredith Crumpler, Gage Martin, Parker Galloway, and Jensen Galloway; and one sister, Francis Reich of Charlotte.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dot was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Kyle Crumpler; sister, Mary Lois Nyfong; and brothers, D. Reid Sink Jr. and Hall Sink.
Pallbearers will be her grandson and great-grandsons, Jay Crumpler, Lee Crumpler, John Huffman, John Galloway, Jeremy Huffman, Gage Martin and Eddie Whitaker.
Memorials may be given to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1608 Pine St., Goldsboro, NC 27530, or the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 4, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
