CAROL R. BASS

PRINCETON -- Carol Register Bass, 70, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Carol was born in Wayne County Jan. 31, 1942, to the late Ray Emmitt Register and Georgia Johnson Register.
She had worked with R.G. Barry and Co. for more than 20 years, and had retired from Bussman.
Carol will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, and for the joy that she received from crocheting and decorating cakes.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 22, 2012, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service at 7 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Randall Woodard officiating. Interment will be Friday, March 23, 2012, at 11 a.m. in Princeton Cemetery.
Carol is survived by her son, Eddie Bass Jr. and wife, Leticia, of Goldsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Bass Sr., and her sister, Betty Gray Wiggins.
