Ethel Andrea Coley, daughter of Ethel Coley and the late Milford Lee Coley Sr., was born in Wayne County June 14, 1969. She departed this life in Wayne County on the early morning of March 18, 2012.

Andrea attended school in Wayne County and in York, Pa. She graduated from William Penn High School in York, Pa.

She worked in the food services industry for a number of years.

Ethel was preceded in death by her father, Milford Lee Coley Sr.; two brothers, Albert Lee and Thadis; and a sister, Evonne.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, pastor Ethel Coley; her brothers and sisters, Cleveland Atkinson of Goldsboro, Carolyn (Malcolm) Brathwaite of Philadelphia, Pa., Geraldine Coley Pitt of Goldsboro, Patricia (Roosevelt) Davis of Youngstown, Ohio, Shirley Coley of Goldsboro, retired Senior Master Sgt. Johnnie E. (Brenda) Coley of Petersburg, Va., Milford Lee (Cynthia) Coley Jr. of Goldsboro, Kenneth (Erdine) Atkinson of The Villages, Fla., Lavern (Franklin) Ward-Harvey of Dudley, Archie (Cindy) Atkinson of Middletown, N.Y., Michael (Michelle) Coley of Pikeville, Anthony Coley of Fremont and Mildred Lisa Coley of Harrisburg, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Lena Mae Horton of Goldsboro; an uncle, Thadis Coley Sr. of Goldsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Family will be receiving friends at 1405 Poplar Drive, Apt. 15, Goldsboro.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 22, 2012, from noon to 2 p.m. at Bible Way Church No. 2, 408 Carver Drive, Goldsboro.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Bible Way Church No. 2, 408 Carver Drive, Goldsboro. Following the services in the sanctuary, Ms. Coley's delicate temple, along with her adored family, will be escorted to Wayne Memorial Park North in E.M. Matthews' angelic white fleet for interment rites.

Ms. Coley's earthen vessel is peacefully resting at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home, where the Coley and connected families are receiving prestigious service.
