Ruby Harris Barbour, 75, died Tuesday at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Adamsville Baptist Church, 1302 N. Berkeley Blvd. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.

There will be a time of sharing with the family at the church prior to the service.

Surviving are a sister, Emily Harris Puckett of Henderson, and sisters-in-law; Christine Puckett Harris and Alice Harris both of Warrenton.

She was a native of Warren County, and was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Deleon Barbour; her parents, Elizabeth Temperance James Harris and Perry Enoch May Harris; and her siblings, Rodger Harris, Clarence J. Harris, Joe Harris, Clifton Harris and Myrtle Harris.

Mrs. Barbour was an active member of Adamsville Baptist Church, participating in the Katie Lamm Faith Sunday school class, as well as the Precept Bible Study.

She was also a volunteer at Wayne Memorial Hospital, and was active in the Women's Golf League at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
