Linda Marie Thompson, 65, 614 Penny Branch Road, died Wednesday morning at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be Sunday at Prayer of Faith Evangelistic Church in Warsaw at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Ludell Washington officiating. Interment will be at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw.
She was born in Duplin County to the late George Coleman and Annie Mae Sanders Cooper. She was married to Dr. Chioke M. Kenyatta.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral chapel in Warsaw.
The family is receiving friends at the home, and will also assemble there in preparation for the funeral procession.
