EUREKA -- Will Dortch Bass, 93, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Eureka United Methodist Church, followed by visitation. Interment will be Eureka Cemetery.
Surviving are his daughters, Sandra Jones (Dwight) of Eureka and Carole Groce of Jonesville; grandchildren, William "Dee" Jones of Cornelius, Angela Causby (Kent) of Smithfield, Andrea Leavigne (Matt) of Jonesville and Alex Groce (Josie) of Philomath, Ore.; great-grandchildren, Avery and Liam Jones and Will Leavigne; and brothers, Emerson Bass and Marion "Pete" Bass of Eureka and Mack Bass of
Kinston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Windham Bass, and a son-in-law, David Groce.
