Mrs. Bobbie Jean McKithan, 60, 619 Claiborne St., Goldsboro, departed this life Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at Life Care Hospital in Rocky Mount.
A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, with Dr. Lester Fisher as eulogist. She will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Martin Luther King Blvd., Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011.
Mrs. McKithan will lie in state at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, from 3 to 7 p.m.
Mrs. McKithan leaves to cherish her memory her spouse, Cleveland McKithan; three children, Sahara (Brian) Harrison, Wendy (Brian) Wilkerson and Michael McKithan; six grandchildren, Jalen, Jacob, Joshua, Briana, Nia and Samiah; her mother, Inez Tyson; a sister; three brothers; seven aunts; four uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Professional services have been entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro.
