KINSTON -- Edgar Lee "Eddie" Cox, 84, died Monday.
Funeral will be tonight at 7 at Northwest Christian Church, with the Rev. Amos Sykes and the Rev. Gerald Stacy officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 12, 1927, in Martin County to the late Zeola Leander "Lee" Cox and Lovie Mae Bell Cox. He was married to Emma Ruth Suggs Cox.
He is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will be tonight following the funeral, and at other times at the home.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home.
