BEULAH MOZINGO

Beulah Irene M. Mozingo, 92, passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at Woodbury Wellness Center in Hampstead, N.C.

Beulah was born in Johnston County Sept. 6, 1919, to the late Joseph F. Mitchell and Lily Clyde Bass Mitchell.

She attended Oak Heights Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Melvin Hall officiating.

Beulah is survived by her daughters, Smokey Futrell of Hampstead, Peggy Ivey of Goldsboro, Frances Kestner of Florida and Faye Gibbs of Iowa; her sons, Buster Mozingo of Oklahoma, Richard Mozingo of Hampstead and Bobby Mozingo of Goldsboro; her two sisters; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John David Mozingo; her son, Billy Ray Strickland; and an infant daughter.
