Solomon Troy "Fuzzy" Jr. was born April 8, 1951, to Willie Mae Daniels Troy and Solomon Troy Sr. in Goldsboro, N.C.
He attended Goldsboro City Schools.
He passed away peacefully Sept. 9, 2011, at home.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; two brothers, Michael Green and Kelly Troy; and a sister, Stacy Green.
Solomon leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary Dunn Troy of the home.
He also leaves his four daughters, who were the joy of his life, Sharon Troy of Goldsboro and Patricia Colón, Willa Holmes and Teresa Troy (Charles) Morgan all of Pikeville, N.C.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Eastern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Viewing will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
