MOUNT OLIVE -- Virginia Kornegay Abernethy, 1556 White Flash Road, died Tuesday at home.
Funeral will be at Alum Springs Baptist Church Friday at 11 a.m., with burial at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ethel Moore Kornegay and the widow of George Abernethy.
She is survived by two sons.
Visitation will be at Alum Springs Church Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., and other times at the home.
Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive is in charge of the services.
