Needham Ray Gurley, 72, of Goldsboro died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Howard and Peggy M. Gurley and the husband of Frances Chestnutt Gurley.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Revs. Ernest and Juanita Hollowell officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
He is survived by a daughter.
