WINSTON-SALEM -- Betty Warrick Burleson, 80, went to her Heavenly Home on Friday, May 6, 2011.
Born on Oct. 27, 1930, she was the daughter of Mallie Avery and Lela Langston Warrick. She was survived by her husband, Wade Burleson Jr., and she leaves behind four children, six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Warrick Collins of Goldsboro and Geraldine Faircloth and husband, Bobby of Durham.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m.
